It rains all night and is still raining when I would usually get up. I prepare for a day in the tent, but then it stops at some point, and I pack the wet tent and groundsheet.
I have a late start at 11:10. Fortunately, today's walk is more or less easy. There are some hot springs along the way, but since it's Sunday, the place is full of local people, so I prefer to keep moving.
After the hot springs, there's no tent site for a while, and when I reach Rainbow Bridge at 5 pm, I'm glad to find just one spot nearby.
I set up everything, have dinner, and put my wet socks from today's river crossing on top of my backpack, which stands in the vestibule of the tent. While trying to sleep, I hear an animal around my tent and hope it doesn't scatter my garbage everywhere. I put the garbage back on top of a rock and placed another rock on top of it.
